However, when he awakens, he discovers he isn’t dealing with aliens, but fairies! Unfortunately, only Dean can see the fairy that keeps attacking him which makes tracing and stopping them difficult. The brothers become even more perplexed when Sam’s investigation leads them to a world full of elves, gnomes and a leprechaun. John Showalter directed the episode written by Ben Edlund (#609).

Supernatural Season 6 Episode 8 All Dogs Go To Heaven : IT’S A DOG’S LIFE — Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) investigate what seems to be a werewolf killing but turns out to be a skinwalker (guest star Andrew Rothenberg) posing as a family dog who is taking revenge on his owner’s enemies. After capturing the dog, he turns human and tells Sam and Dean that an Alpha skinwalker has created many sleeper cells that will rise on his command and kill their families.. The only way to stop the mass murders is to find and kill the Alpha. Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Adam Glass (##608).
Freddy Krueger vs. the Winchester boys? Pure genius. It’s a ‘Supernatural‘ match made in heaven!
The Ausiello Files reports that ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ star — and all-round super-scary person — Robert Englund has signed on to guest star on ‘Supernatural.’ However, it seems that Englund may be playing against type as his character will be trying to save one of the Winchesters, not trying to kill him. Or so it seems …
Sources say that Englund will play a character known only as “Dr. Robert.” Executive producer Sera Gamble explained that “Hunters often find themselves in situations where they need medical attention but can’t exactly stroll into an ER. … Robert plays an unlicensed doc who makes his living stitching folks up on the down low. One of our guys goes to him with a life-or-death problem.” (Hmmm, anyone else picking up possible zombie vibes right now?)
Englund rocketed to fame in the ’80s portraying disfigured slasher Freddy Krueger in the ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ movie franchise. He’s recently guest-starred as a creepy janitor on ‘Bones,’ and will appear as nightmare-inducing villain, Dr. Stanley, in next week’s Halloween-themed episode of ‘Chuck.’
Look out for Englund as “Dr. Robert’ in the Dec. 10 episode of ‘Supernatural.’

Dean is forced to tell Sam the truth about how he feels about his return from Hell. Supernatural Season 6 Episode 4 : In the coming season’s fourth episode, titled “You Can’t Handle The Truth,” Swan will guest-star as a news reporter chronicling an unsettling series of suicides. As Dean and Sam delve into the maudlin mystery, they determine that each victim had been exposed to a brutal truth that quite literally drove them crazy.
Swan’s character, I am told, may turn out to be in possession of information that could shed light on the brothers’ investigation, just as one of Winchesters is forced to comes to terms with a hard truth of his own – one that could send his sibling reeling!
